Dr. Vlad Gendelman is a prominent figure in the world of orthopaedic care. Born in Soviet Union in 1977, Dr. Gendelman has now skillfully built a repertoire of experiences in his field. He began his academic journey at the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Biology. He went on to broaden his knowledge by earning an M.D. from the University of California at Irvine – College of Medicine. He then completed his five-year accredited residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery at SUNY Downstate to prepare for becoming a future orthopaedic surgeon. Meanwhile, he also served as a team physician for Sheepshead Bay High School’s Varsity and Junior Varsity football teams.
Various certifications and licenses further amplify Dr. Gendelman’s credibility. He is licensed to practice medicine in California and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Gendelman holds membership in multiple professional organizations, including the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the California Orthopaedic Association.
